Capitalist Party

The Capitalist Party (Norwegian Bokmål: ''Liberalistene''; Nynorsk: ''Liberalistane'') is a Norwegian political party that promotes a classical liberal platform. The Norwegian name literally translates to ''The Libertarians'' or ''The Liberalists''. However, its official English name is ''Capitalist Party''. It was founded in 2014 and strives to challenge the status quo.
==Platform ==
Based on classical liberalism and Age of Enlightenment philosophies, the party advocates for a minimal state where the responsibility of government is limited to administering the police, military, and justice system. The Capitalist Party believes the state should be prohibited from compelling its electorate and exists only to protect individuals from aggression, theft, and fraud. In accordance with the party's motto, the foundation of this platform holds the belief that one owns their life and is responsible for their decisions and prosperity and that each has the inalienable right to autonomously pursue their private interests and desires to the extent that those pursuits do not violate the rights of another.
With firm convictions in the values of Western constitutionalism, the party believes in the separation of powers between three branches of government; executive, legislative, and judicial. This system of checks and balances, carefully monitored and constricted, will according to the party ensure personal freedoms are secure and prevent the rise of statism.
Economically, the party is dedicated to laissez-faire capitalism advocating for a free market devoid of extensive regulations. The party sees individual sovereignty is a natural condition conducive to innovation and ingenuity, and holds that regulatory practices impede upon self-determination and self-ownership inhibiting individual freedom and innovative productivity. The party thinks people should collaborate freely, under peaceful and voluntary conditions, and without the coercion of state intervention.
